Lifeguard Staff
You are required to have a current lifeguard certification and CPR/first aid certification. You will be responsible for the overall risk management of our aquatics program. This includes one junior Olympic swimming pool, activities/swimming pond and a canoeing pond. Lifeguard Certification is required but may be provided onsite before staff training. Other tasks you will be responsible for, but not exclusively are:
- Uphold pool safety protocol
- Facilitate weekly camper swim tests and establish waterfront rules with campers each week
- Maintain all waterfront areas and equipment
- Maintain pool chemical balance
- Facilitate waterfront activities
- Organize and facilitate Advanced Swimming and Learning to Swim elective and activities
- Complete tasks assigned by Leadership Staff
